Founded by Faizar Hussein in 2015, Churros Republic began as a humble street stall in Bugis. His vision was simple: deliver hot, handcrafted churros to people who crave honest desserts.

With a commitment to freshness, bold flavors, and inventive toppings, the brand quickly became a favorite among locals — and eventually earned recognition as a Michelin Preferred Brand.

From late-night pop-ups to a flagship outlet at Our Tampines Hub, and now offering live dessert stations and full-service events, Churros Republic is more than dessert. It’s a movement built on soul, flavor, and passion.

From Street Stall to Singapore’s Sweetheart

In 2015, Faizar Hussein launched Churros Republic with a single mission: to create joy with every churro. What started as a small stall in Bugis rapidly became a crowd favorite, thanks to the brand’s focus on delivering warm, crispy churros with bold, creative toppings.

As demand grew, so did the vision. In January 2019, Churros Republic opened its flagship outlet at Our Tampines Hub, giving fans a permanent space to indulge. That same year, the brand was honored as a Michelin Preferred Brand, solidifying its place in Singapore’s culinary scene.

To meet growing demand, the team introduced live dessert stations at events — bringing the joy of hot churros to weddings, corporate gatherings, and pop-ups across the island.

Behind the scenes, the business adopted smart tools like Xero for e-invoicing and accounting, keeping operations efficient while scaling up.

Churros Republic is now more than a dessert stall. It’s a beloved Singaporean brand rooted in flavor, driven by innovation, and always delivering delight one bite at a time.
